SPS installed a 10kW Ground Mount solution for a residential user aiming to reduce their home electricity bills. The client’s property, an old listed School House building, presented a unique challenge. To overcome this, the client decided to utilize a nearby parcel of land for the ground mount installation. SPS also took measures to minimize the visual impact on surrounding neighbors by installing a fence around the array.

The ground mount solution offered optimal generation capacity as it allowed us to choose the best orientation and incline for maximum efficiency. To further enhance the system’s performance, we supplemented the installation with 9kWh of battery storage, increasing self-consumption capabilities.

As a result, the client experienced remarkable savings. In the first year alone, they were able to reduce their home electricity bills by over 60%, amounting to nearly £3,000 in savings. This successful implementation showcases the client’s commitment to sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions for their residential property.
